Spaghetti with meat sauce

    ingredients

    • 1 litre Jolife tomato sauce
    • 1 onion
    • 1 celery stick
    • 1 carrot
    • 300 ml red wine
    • 500 g minced pork or veal
    • 50 g butter
    • 4 tablespoons olive oil
    • 1 stock cube
    • Salt and pepper
    • Grated Grana cheese
    • 300 g spaghetti

    preparation

    Heat the oil and butter in a large pan until the butter melts, then add the onion, celery and carrot finely chopped and sauté until golden. Add the minced meat and sauté until well browned, breaking it with a fork or a wooden spoon, then add the stock cube, salt, pepper (or chili) and tomato sauce (prepared according to the “Jolife tomato sauce” recipe). Stir thoroughly until the meat has absorbed the tomato sauce, then pour the red wine and let evaporate over medium heat, partially covering the pan with a lid. Cook over low heat for about an hour. Adjust the seasoning, if needed. Cook the spaghetti according to the instructions on the package, drain and add to the pan with the sauce. Stir over medium heat for a few minutes. Sprinkle with grated Grana cheese and serve.
