    ingredients

    • 1 tray Jolife mixed berries ( Piccoli Frutti)
    • 300 g short-crust pastry
    • Ingredients for the Pastry Cream
    • 1 liter milk
    • 350 g sugar
    • 140 g all-purpose flour
    • Zest of one lemon
    • 4 eggs
    • 1 package vanillin

    preparation

    Prepare the pastry cream by beating the eggs with the sugar and then gradually mixing in the flour. Add the milk with the zest of one lemon, thoroughly rinsed and dried, and transfer the mixture to a pan over low heat. Keep stirring to obtain a smooth custard. Turn off the heat, add the vanillin and let cool. Meanwhile, line a baking dish with parchment paper, lift the rolled short-crust pastry with the help of a rolling pin, and transfer to the baking dish. Level the edge and shape it using a fork. Prick the bottom of the crust with a fork to avoid bubbles, preheat the oven at 180 °C and bake for 20 minutes. Take the pastry base out of the oven, let cool and spread the prepared pastry cream on top using a pastry bag or a spoon.
    Gently rinse and dry the berries and arrange on the pastry cream according to your liking.
