Melons
How They Grow
- Various types of melon are grown by Jolife. They stand out from one another by their shape, round or oval, and by the colour of the pulp.
- Orange pulp melon is sweet and aromatic, while yellow and white pulp melons have a fresh and delicate flavour.
- The cultivation of melons is alternated over time with other plants, in order to maintain the nutrients in the soil.
Their benefits
- Naturally rich in vitamin A and C.
- They hydrate, refresh and give energy without weighing heavily on the stomach, as they are rich in water and quickly assimilated sugars.
- They contain mineral salts, meaning they refresh and help to replenish substances lost through sweating.
- They help to nourish the skin which, during summer, is particularly exposed to the sun, thanks to the presence of vitamins A and C.
- The presence of high amounts of both vitamin A and vitamin C reduces the formation of free radicals and slows down skin aging.
