JOLIFE… ENRICHES YOUR CHRISTMAS TABLE

As the American writer Rex Stout says, “The guest is a jewel placed on the pillow of hospitality.” To welcome a precious gem, the pillow must be soft and comfortable. Likewise, when we host friends and family, we are that pillow that values them and makes them feel at ease.
At Christmas, we can offer our guests an experience that engages them and leaves an unforgettable impression. Treating guests like jewels means making them feel important and at the center of our attention. Caring for others helps us rediscover the spirit of service, rewarded by the satisfied and happy look of a relative or friend who recognizes the goodness and value of what we do.
Every time we dedicate ourselves to others, we enrich ourselves and also take the opportunity to grow personally. The key is to welcome guests and make them feel comfortable without showing off. The goal of hospitality is to leave guests with a fond memory.
To achieve this, just a small gesture or, in most cases, a simple yet charming idea is enough. Among many possibilities, we have thought of using place cards as decorative elements that can add an original touch to your Christmas table. A thoughtful detail for your guests that can also become a keepsake of the meal shared with friends.
Here is an easy idea that will pleasantly surprise your guests. Usually, glass jars containing jams, pickles, yogurt, or other foods are thrown away for recycling. Our advice is not to discard these containers because they can become precious place cards for your Christmas table.
Take the jars, decorate them as you like, and attach a tag with the guest’s name. To give your place card a festive touch, we suggest placing a small candle inside; the flame will add extra warmth to your lunch or dinner.
A simple idea that is sure to delight your guests.
