How wonderful our company dinners are
This year’s celebration was even more exciting than previous ones — we raised our glasses to the success of our first 40 years!
Nearly 100 team members attended, active across various departments, of different ages and nationalities. And even though our daily work dynamics are often ‘adrenaline-fueled’ and intense (we work with fresh products — there’s never time to waste ;-), with music playing in the background and a good glass of wine in hand, laughter and fun took over the evening.
Among newly hired young staff and an ever-growing management team, what stood out most were our “seniors.”
I’m talking about our long-timers (and there are quite a few!) who have been with Villafrut for 20, 30, and even — believe it or not — 40 years. That means there are people among us who started their careers at the very moment the company was first taking root.
For a company, that’s something to be truly proud of.
Surely, there have been tough times along the way, but giving so much of yourself — for a lifetime — to the same workplace also means you’ve received a lot in return.
At the heart of such a long-lasting mutual relationship, there must be respect and appreciation.
And that’s simply wonderful.
