{"id":2813,"date":"2018-04-09T23:50:42","date_gmt":"2018-04-09T21:50:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jolife.info\/?p=2813\/"},"modified":"2025-07-31T16:51:42","modified_gmt":"2025-07-31T14:51:42","slug":"gemusefit-kids-enjoylife","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jolife.info\/en\/gemusefit-kids-enjoylife\/","title":{"rendered":"Gem\u00fcsefit Kids enJoylife"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\">Villafrut, represented by the Jolife brand in Austria, recently developed an exciting educational project for primary school children in Vienna.<br \/>\nThanks to the collaboration with Pleiadi (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pleiadi.it\/\" target=\"_new\">www.pleiadi.it<\/a>) and the Vienna University Children\u2019s Office (<a href=\"http:\/\/kinder.univie.ac.at\/\" target=\"_new\">http:\/\/kinder.univie.ac.at\/<\/a>), both organizations experienced in scientific communication especially for children and young people, between April 23 and May 14, ten Viennese elementary school classes participated in engaging hands-on workshops on the theme \u201cEating healthy, the incredible world of fruit and vegetables.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The classrooms were transformed into experimental laboratories where students could discover the differences and similarities between fruits and vegetables through practical methods.<br \/>\nNot only was the wide variety of vitamins and minerals examined, but also the importance of seasonality and regionality, all in a playful and interactive way. Regarding the importance of fruit and vegetables for a healthy diet, the environmental impact compared to other foods was also considered.<\/p>\n<p>The practical and concrete approach was chosen to enable students to develop their observation and reflection skills, as well as their manual and creative abilities (Learning by Doing).<br \/>\nWe will keep you informed about further interesting educational opportunities related to well-being and fresh produce.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Villafrut, represented by the Jolife brand in Austria, recently developed an exciting educational project for primary school children in Vienna.
