Divided into class groups, the children participated with curiosity and passion in the two-hour session, first observing photographs taken directly in the strawberry growing and harvesting fields, and then engaging in a flurry of questions to better understand every detail.

These students, with their enthusiasm, brought an incredible energy to the room. It was wonderful to see how deeply interested our young generation is in nature and its fascinating processes.

What Jolife brings to schools are experiences that are often unfamiliar in today’s society. Strawberries are something we usually see in supermarkets — very few are lucky enough to see them growing in the soil. But that’s exactly why we’re here: to help children better understand what they eat, so they can appreciate it more and waste it less.

At the end of the lively discussion, we moved on to the much-loved “Vitamin Rap”, which is always a hit with both the little ones and the older students.
